Although there is no universally accepted definition of Leadership, Justin Bariso, author of this article published in Inc.com, explores definitions put forth by well-known and respected leadership experts. In his conclusion, Justin ultimately offers this thought: Good leaders don’t wait for a title. They simply lead, and others naturally follow.
We all know that numbers don’t lie. Therefore, with over 2.6 billion followers worldwide, there’s no better example of a leader with many followers than Jesus Christ. Contrary to most, He modeled and taught that we should seek to serve…versus to be served. Considered by many to be the undisputed greatest leader of all time, Jesus defined the traits of a servant leader as one who is Patient, Kind, Thankful, Humble, Respectful, Merciful and Truthful. Do you hope to become a leader that others will follow? If so, it starts with putting others in front of yourself…and following His example.
